JCC dinner was packed!

Many former students joined the dinner after a long silence as well as new faces! They are currently enrolled at North Central College, DePaul University, etc. Those who are continuing to take Japanese courses at other institutions often realized and mentioned how KIND GTS had been after feeling "a piece of cake" at tests and quizzes of the "tranferred institutions" and feel great!! (Only those who attended GTS classes probably know what this means!) Well, final exam is coming up and I hope there will be many smiles! Next JCC/GTS dinner will be May 29, 2009! (NOT JUNE!)

Oh not in June because you'll be in Japan right? I"ll have to try to make the one at the end of may then :3 Since with no reminders I completely forgot... -__-'''

So wait, were the students saying how easy your tests were in comparison to theirs now or how easy their tests are now in comparison to yours?

Juria! I did remind it! I know that you are slowly going away! 2251 is waiting for you! Are you kidding? Tests in other schools ARE easy! Well, I did revise the paragraph to clarify. -GTS

Shingo, what are the laws on bringing alcohol to and from other countries? Darren and i saw recently that some Japanese Whiskey has swept the international awards, and we cant find it ;-)

To the US, a visitor can bring one bottle (less than 720ml) without any problems. But in order to bring it to Chicago, the flight must be directly reaching here since you cannot bring those with domestic airlines. -GTS
