Nara mission complete with Todaiji and Kasuga Grand Shrine!

Kyoto city subway and Kintetsu train took us to Nara station from which we walk to Todaiji temple while feeding many deers.

Todaiji Giant Buddha Hall is the world largest wooden structure.  Some students try going through the famous Buddha's nose hole column.

We walk up to the April Hall from which we could see the entire Nara city.  Then we moved through Tamukeyama Hachimangu and Wakakusa mountain to the Kasuga Grand Shrine and Sarusawa Pond before heading back to Kintetsu Nara station through Higashimuki Shopping street.

Hot and humid but great day!
