Blog-site connected to GTS!

Three of GTS students created the GTS TRIO blog which, I hope, is and will be positive and productive and up-lifting for every member of the GTS community. Their blog site does suggest some good links for Japanese learners that I can also recommend. I truly hope that those three cooperatively continue the blog. GTS fan club isn't necessary but rather the community intertwined and positively connected through GTS is really wonderful and ideal. Some are connected through Facebook and/or My Space. GTS certainly plays some unique role in Facebook. Students can connected with former GTS students via Facebook. Let's have fun but be thoughtful as well!

Well, we'll try to stay on topic with that blog as much as we can...and I hope that we can take care of it... :D

Here's to hoping that it will be educational and helpful!! (and er...fun?..right FUN)

Lets be optimistic!~

Also, Chibi and I had this discussion today, that it would only turn into a fan club if you got us NEWS tickets....hehe

*insert awkward Caitlin hand motion here*

Well, Fan club is certainly welcome. See how it goes.... -GTS

Thanks for the optimistic yet unsure encouragement. :D

I have hand motions named after me! And I knew exactly what they looked like when she typed it even though I never saw her do them. XD I love how my weird mannerisms are rubbing off.

Anyway! NewS tickets: the price of a fan club. Not cheap.

Natalie and Juria are convinced you have secret ties to Johnny's that you're with holding. Is this true?

I do have some connections with various folks in Japan but not quite with ジャニーズ. Hahaha about THE hand motion! -GTS

SHINGLES SHINGLES I HAVE A STORY TO TELL YOU!!

even MORE coincidences connected to Japan!!!!~

In the hostel Michelle, Caitlin and I stayed at in Tokyo on the last night we were in the common room just talking the three of us and this guy overheard that I was from Naperville and asked what highschool I went to and what not...so APPARENTLY HE WENT TO MY HIGHSCHOOL! At the same time....how insane is that correct? We talked about the teachers we had that were the same etc~

We thought that was weird enough and Caitlin and Michelle got his name as I headed to bed early and not really giving it a second thought...

Alright though- today the three of us brought up Tokyo and then I said "Oh right that guy, what WAS his name again?" and Caitlin mentioned that she friended him on facebook...so I went to do that...

When I DID though, I looked at his profile page and saw that he was in a band called Spin Perry...suddenly I remembered that I absolutely LOVED his band and he played at my favorite memory of highschool which was My Freshman Year "Battle of the Bands" and that I thought his band was brilliant! Suddenly it all made sense why his last name sounded familiar, and why he sort of looked familiar! I actually have a piece of the guitar they smashed(?) in my closet!

HOW WEIRD IS THAT? HOW WEIRD IS THAT??

XD!!! EVERYTHING IS LINKED TO JAPAN SHINGO! EVERYTHING!! haha

it was funny because both Caitlin and Misha had weird connections and now it happened to me....

Juria neglected to mention that she vividly remembers the guy because she had a crush on him. :D

Hehe. Juria. So cute! XD

I would say SO much worse things to you right now if we weren't on Shingo's blog....Ugh uuuuuugh!!!

I SPECIFICALLY left that part out on purpose CHIBS!

Wow, thank you for sharing the lovely Japan-connected stories. Before Chibi mentioned about Julia having a crush on him, I have already suspected. I'm not that STUPIIIIID!

Yes, I know but

*cough*

it was meant to be subtly implied chibiiii >//< !!

Oh well XD!!! haha

I wonder what all of this means? These "coincidences" have gotten a little much...

It proves that coincidence was meant to be so. You are connected with all those mysterious rather divine strings among all. I attended the wake of my fellow teacher's son last night. He was killed by Amtrak on his way to his girlfriend's. What a tragedy of 18-year old boy was! His father died of cancer at the age of 42 when he was 4. Now he unexpectedly went to his father's. You never know about your life but let's live every moment to the best of our ability!

Thats so true. Every time someone passes away I always get the sense of reaffirming my life and how quickly it can be broken.

I'm very sorry to hear about that teachers son. I had to reread that sentence a few times..since he was so young...my age especially! I wish peace for his family although that will inevitably take a while.

You are correct, Julia! The same age! Enjoy every moment! There is nothing we cannot solve! -GTS
