National Conference in Orlando is coming up!

The Teacher Award will be presented in Orlando this coming Saturday. I will fly over there to get recognized and bring some warm weather back here. Right before leaving here, there will be Chapter 5 test for 1102 to be ready for THE MOST DENSE and CRITICAL Chapter 6. Those who have been surviving through Chapter 5 may prepare themselves to struggle for better future. Chapter 6 main topics include, 'Complete conjugation table for Adjectives,' 'Dictionary form of Adjectives and Verbs,' 'Te-form (connective form) of Adjectives and Verbs,' etc. GOOOOOD LUCK!

I don't know if you are a "picture" person or not, but please take lots of pictures! I want to see them when you get back!

I'm as ready for Chapter 6 as I can be! Every time I say I am ready, I am struck by how not ready I really am. It's like the more I know, the more I realize I know nothing!

Jerry, i think i can speak for a lot of people who have had Shingo for almost a year and a half now in saying.... it isnt just you... this is the nature of Shingo's exams. If something appeared once in a video or story or really anything he has shown or had in class at any point... it's fair game to be on the test. It can be a bit discouraging... but fear not! because as i said, its the same for the rest of the class too no doubt.

The Nature of GTS exam is evil! Oh, no just a fun. Or trial of getting rid of so called perfectionists -GTS

@Shingo LOL trial of getting rid of perfectionists? That is too funny. You know I'm a perfectionist, right? Not being perfect doesn't get rid of me, it only makes me work harder! You may be creating a monster...

@Wes I quickly realized that anything Shingo says or appears ONCE in our text book is fair game. That's why I have flash cards that say "ferret" and "recession" because if I don't write them down, I might not know what they mean IF they show up on a test... Today, now that I finally mastered all the on and kun readings and the stroke order of the kanji for this chapter AND the last chapter, today in class Shingo casually adds more readings "just for fun."

I know I'm a too much a perfectionist... worse than that I am stubborn and hate losing. :P

Ya, in a vocab quiz from a chapter with nearly 50 words in it last night, shingo still managed to throw in a word that we had never learned... (Shakes fist)

My quizzes and tests always include some extras. 32-word vocabulary quiz that Wes is talking about is rounded down to 30. So I can freely add 2 extra but easily guessable words must be suited there! The fact that there are students who guessed right CLEARLY proves "IT'S FARE' -GTS

haha, a guess.... I STILL THINK WE SHOULD GET 1 POINT FOR HANDNECK AND 2 FOR WRIST! >_O

Handneck got 0, wrist got full 1 point. -GTS

Woo! Got wrist! Somehow managed to miss saifu and koujou annndddd a bunch of other words... (;、; ) Ahem, I'll get the elongated thingies right some day!

Or, you know, I'll keep saying that I went to the hospital instead of the hairdresser. (>、< )

Yeah, probably the latter.

Maaaan whatever guys, I am PROUD to have put down "hand neck"

because you know what? Now I know what the word for wrist is! (and I doubt that I'll forget again)
