Bullet Train trip from Kyoto

Winter Field Trip to Japan has been scheduled from 12/18/08 to 12/30/08 under the Title of Exotic Japan, but for various reasons the trip theme was modified and re-titled as "Bullet Train and Kyoto." The group will base at Kyoto and using Bullet Train as much as possible to reach Hiroshima (Miyajima-island for which monkey living Mt. Misen and floating Torii Gate famous and we plan to visit), Okayama (Korakuen park and Okayama Castle and Museums), Tokushima in Shikoku Island (Naruto for which largest whirlpool in the inland sea is famous), Himeji (White Heron Castle), Nara (Deer Park, World largest wooden structure housing the huge Buddha Image in it), Osaka and Kobe. Kyoto's main spot will certainly included to enjoy the old and the new of Japan. I hope many students and community folks join the trip!

Why would you take someone to Nara park?! The most terrifying place on earth!

Those deer have hunger in their eyes!!

Oh, you were making friends with the deer, Juria?

Is THAT why you guys were late and ditched me for a whole 15 minutes!?

I didn't know what to do without you guys. v_v

Shingles, if you're on the Shinkansen so much, that means there is an exponentially larger chance your group could run into some Johnny's! Please to get us some autographs!

Yes I swear Shingles!

If you see Johnny's you are bound by contract to get autographs for us!

(you haven't seen this contract yet, but it exists, when we woke you on the plane you were actually signing papers)

It wasn't "ditching"! You left *JULIA* and *ME* alone and expected us to find our way. That was your first mistake. Your second mistake was putting a bathroom somewhere along the path we were supposed to be taking. You know how Julia is with her bathrooms! /")_-;)

We missed you too Mischa. Had we been together, we may have manned up and crawled through that pillar.

Ah! I totally didn't even think of that! Mischa has a point. You're definitely more likely to run into them than we are. Can you get us autographs, please? (Nothing forged!!! We'll know the difference!!! I swear!)

I WAS JOKING.

Who knows when it would be the next time that I wouldn't see one of those crazy squat toilets!?!

I'm sure Juria has worse problems after eating greasy sausages at IHOP.

But we will study Johnny's handwriting samples online... we know where to find them... because the Internet holds many secrets.

Btw. On a more serious note: As for the talk you had with us in the restaurant, that advice has been put into practice so much now, by all of us. On so many levels, has that advice been applied. Thank you Great Teacher Shingles, you have no idea how all your teachings have profoundly helped us. ほんま!

Would you guys stop bringing up those sausages at Ihop! They were perfectly fine! *knock on wood*

Ah Michelle speaks the truth! We've mulled over your advice more than I can even think about now!

Great Teacher Shingles sounds better too in my opinion...

We were listening even if you didn't think we were, and we appreciate the fact that you care enough to say it.

Your advice--advice is a bad word for it--what you told us really has helped us a lot. There are points in time where we'll be talking, and one of us will say, "So it all just goes back to what Sensei told us. Oh eff!"

Thank you!
